  • purchase history;
  • automated communications.

Our payment processing providers facilitate secure payment transactions for Memberships, class packages, retail purchases, gift cards, and other Studio services.

These providers process payment information directly using industry-standard security measures. Studio S generally does not receive or retain complete payment card numbers.

We disclose personal information to these service providers only to the extent reasonably necessary for them to perform services on our behalf.

Studio S remains responsible for personal information transferred to service providers for processing and takes reasonable steps to require that such providers maintain safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information and provide a level of protection comparable to that required under applicable privacy legislation.

Some service providers may store or process personal information outside Alberta or outside Canada. In those circumstances, personal information may be subject to the laws of the jurisdiction in which it is processed. 8. CCTV & Studio Security

To help maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for our Members, guests, instructors, and staff, Studio S uses video surveillance in certain areas of the Studio.

Security cameras may be installed in locations such as:

  • the reception area;
  • the lobby and entrance;
  • retail areas;
  • hallways;
  • other common areas of the Studio.

Security cameras are not installed in washrooms, changing areas, or any location where individuals have a reasonable expectation of privacy.

Video recordings may be used for purposes including:

  • protecting the safety of Members, guests, instructors, and staff;
  • protecting Studio property;
  • investigating security incidents, accidents, or suspected misconduct;
  • assisting law enforcement where legally required;
  • supporting insurance claims or legal proceedings.

Access to surveillance recordings is restricted to authorized personnel and retained only for as long as reasonably necessary, unless a longer retention period is required by law or in connection with an investigation or legal proceeding.

9. Guest Wi-Fi

Studio S may offer complimentary wireless internet (“Guest Wi-Fi”) for the convenience of Members and visitors.

When using Guest Wi-Fi, certain technical information may be collected automatically by our network or internet service providers, including:

  • IP address;
  • connection times;
  • network usage information;
  • technical diagnostic information.

Studio S does not routinely monitor the content of internet activity conducted over Guest Wi-Fi. However, network information may be used for purposes such as:

  • protecting the integrity of our systems.

Members and guests are responsible for using Guest Wi-Fi in a lawful and appropriate manner. Use of the Guest Wi-Fi service is at your own risk.

Because these communications are necessary to administer your Membership or provide requested services, you may continue to receive them even if you choose not to receive promotional communications.

  • seasonal promotions;
  • wellness content;
